Cervelo Aspero

New and faster than ever

Cervelo Aspero Top Tier Build

The Aspero-5 Red XPLR eTap AXS not only looks fast, it rides fast. The Aspero-5 range includes modifications for improved speed and lighter weight. All Aspero-5 build kits feature a full cable integration, so nothing is left to catch the wind and aerodynamic tube shapes with a cutout seat tube are refined for greater speed. You don't need a road bike to achieve top off-road performance at the races––enter the Aspero-5 Red XPLR eTap AXS.

The Aspero-5 Red XPLR eTap AXS rolls on mixed profile 700c Reserve Wheels and 38c Panaracer Gravel King tires. This combo is perfectly suited for long days in the saddle on rugged roads, gravel, and dirt.

What really sets the Aspero-5 Red XPLR eTap AXS build kit apart from the rest is the drivetrain––fully electronic shifting for absolute precision and efficiency, responsive derailleur mechanics, and the best weight in class. The Aspero-5 Red XPLR eTap AXS includes SRAM’s Red AXS power meter so you’ll never skip a beat.

Effortless efficiency and top speed are the name of the game with the Aspero-5 Red XPLR eTap AXS.

Cervelo Aspero Options

The Aspero Apex 1 isn’t a weekend bike-packing rig. It's a race-ready gravel bike that is kitted out with high-end components for sending. More often than not, gravel races entail demanding conditions––your componentry better be up for the challenge. Luckily, The Aspero Apex 1 rocks a SRAM Apex 1 drivetrain that gives you advanced shifting, powerful control, and efficiency.

One weekend you’ll find yourself racing loose, dry country back roads and the next weekend you’ll be racing hard-packed gravel with a mix of singletrack. With Trail-Mixer, the Aspero Apex 1 can accommodate 700c or 650b wheels and a wide range of tire sizes to suit the next gravel race perfectly.

The Aspero Apex 1 comes in two build kits. Although they are mostly the same, riders may opt for a long cage derailleur; Zipp Service Course bars with a 70mm reach or Easton EA50 bars with an 80mm reach; Cervelo or Selle Italia saddle; Cervelo or Easton seat post. The two build kits allow you to select the components that will offer the best fit and comfort possible for your Aspero Apex 1 gravel riding.

For a fast-riding, road bike-leaning gravel rig, look no further than the Cervelo Aspero. Technically a gravel bike, the Aspero is built for speed and thrives on pavement and off-road. The Aspero’s stiff carbon frame offers road bike-like performance with the geometry gravel riders crave for optimal stability––a lower center of gravity, longer wheelbase than its roadie siblings, and a two-position fork for refining the geometry based on your wheel and tire choice. Predictable handling and responsiveness to pedaling input add up to a race-ready gravel machine.

Trail-Mixer is the Aspero's flip chip fork technology that offers riders a two-position, 5mm adjustment range so the fork can accommodate either 700c or 650b wheels. Spending more time on smooth gravel or pavement? Opt for a quick rolling, race-ready 700c. Desire a playful, singletrack-oriented gravel ride with more clearance? 650b suits you well.

The Aspero features a round seat post, giving riders a choice in upgrade options should they desire a dropper post. Among the options are SRAM or Shimano 1x drivetrains, wheel and tire configuration––700c or 650b, and Reserve carbon wheelsets or lightweight aluminum, depending on the build.
